About the Artist:  Lauren received her MFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2006.  Currently, she is a visual arts instructor at a northern Chicago boarding school where she lives with her husband, Ryan, and dog, Marty.  When they're not in Chicago, they enjoy traveling and spending time with family in Vermont.
